Aliaxis is NSF\u2019s first client in India to receive this certification for the PE Fittings.<\/p>\n

NSF\/ANSI\/CAN 61:\u00a0Drinking Water System Components \u2013 Health Effects\u00a0<\/em>is an American and Canadian National Standard. The standard\u00a0<\/u>establishes\u00a0minimum health effects requirements for the chemical contaminants and impurities that are indirectly imparted to drinking water from products, components and materials used in drinking water systems.<\/p>\n

To earn NSF\/ANSI\/CAN 61 certification,\u00a0Aliaxis\u2019 PE Fittings\u00a0underwent rigorous testing and technical review by NSF to verify it meets the requirements of this standard. This certification verifies the suitability of the fittings for use in a water distribution system. Additionally, NSF audited\u00a0Aliaxis\u2019 manufacturing facility to verify compliance to the standard\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n

NSF\u2019s certification program is accredited by the\u00a0ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB)\u00a0and the\u00a0Standards Council of Canada (SCC).\u00a0Companies worldwide strive to earn certification\u00a0<\/a>to\u00a0this standard, as it is a globally recognized sign of product quality.<\/p>\n
