NSF\/ANSI\/CAN 61\u00a0<\/em>is an American and Canadian National Standard. The standard\u00a0<\/u>establishes\u00a0minimum health effects requirements for the chemical contaminants and impurities that are indirectly imparted to drinking water from products, components and materials used in drinking water systems.<\/p>\n

To earn NSF\/ANSI\/CAN 61 certification,\u00a0Johnson Screens\u2019 PVC pipes\u00a0underwent rigorous testing and technical review by NSF to verify\u00a0they\u00a0meet the requirements of this standard. This certification verifies the suitability of the\u00a0pipes\u00a0for use in a water distribution system. Additionally, NSF audited Johnson Screens\u2019\u00a0manufacturing facility to verify compliance to the standard\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n
