All under one roof, all in one day. And if that wasn\u2019t ambitious enough, Modi announced the <\/span><b>Employment Linked Incentive Scheme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 \u20b915,000 in direct government support for private firms hiring first-time job seekers. Once a nation with just four mobile phone units, we now boast nearly <\/span><b>300 manufacturing hubs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 each humming with young hands building not just gadgets, but India\u2019s industrial future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And defence? India is no longer just importing jets \u2013 it\u2019s producing tanks, locomotives, metro coaches, and more. With \u20b91.25 lakh crore in defence manufacturing output and <\/span><b>$40 billion in auto-sector FDI in just five years<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, India isn\u2019t tinkering at the margins. It\u2019s playing in the majors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But PM Modi didn\u2019t just talk big industry. He zoomed into the households. Rural schemes weren\u2019t footnotes \u2013 they were the backbone of his employment argument. From <\/span><b>PM Awas Yojana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s 4 crore homes to <\/span><b>Swachh Bharat\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 12 crore toilets, from <\/span><b>10 crore LPG connections<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <\/span><b>rooftop solar subsidies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the point was simple: <\/span><b>infrastructure is jobs.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even the <\/span><b>Namo Drone Didi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Lakhpati Didi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> programs got the spotlight \u2013 because nothing says modern India like rural women flying drones and running enterprises. Already, <\/span><b>1.5 crore women<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have become lakhpatis, and that\u2019s not charity \u2013 it\u2019s economic redesign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then came the mic-drop moment: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn the last 10 years, 25 crore people have risen out of poverty.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The World Bank is calling it historic. The ILO is citing it.
