The increased recycling capacities will enhance Ecoreco\u2019s foot print in the recycling volume of waste electrical &amp; electronic waste and Li-ion batteries and support producers to meet their incremental quantitative obligations under the E-Waste Management Rules, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The company has enhanced its overall e-waste processing capabilities with a focus on lithium-ion battery recycling\u2014one of the fastest-growing segments in the e-waste stream.\u00a0With this expansion,\u00a0Ecoreco\u2019stotal\u00a0capacity now stands at 31,200 MTPA, reinforcing its position as a frontrunner in the formal e-waste recycling space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Capacity Expansion Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Total e-waste recycling\u00a0capacity\u00a0has been\u00a0increased by 18,000 MTPA<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Dedicated\u00a06,000 MTPA facility\u00a0has been\u00a0commissioned for lithium-ion\u00a0(Li-ion) battery recycling<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0In its new 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art plant located in Vasai, an industrial hub near Mumbai<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Entire investment funded through\u00a0internal accruals, reaffirming the company\u2019s zero-debt status<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0timely\u00a0expansion positions Ecoreco\u00a0to support the growing compliance needs of electronic producers under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) norms.
