Goa [India], August 11:\u00a0 <\/strong>In a powerful celebration of grassroots impact and visionary leadership,\u00a0PACT Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0commemorated its\u00a02nd Foundation Day<\/strong>\u00a0on August 8 at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Miramar, Goa. The event\u00a0brought together educators, changemakers, government partners, and citizens to mark two years of PACT\u2019s mission to transform education in Goa.<\/p>\n

In unveiling the Foundation\u2019s next big leap: #GoaSuper100,\u00a0the event was graced by special guests \u2014 veteran actor and motivational speaker\u00a0Anupam Kher,\u00a0<\/strong>andacclaimed actor and philanthropist\u00a0Sonu Sood,<\/strong>\u00a0who joined\u00a0PACT\u2019s Founder and President, Dr. Ashwin Fernandes,<\/strong>\u00a0in celebrating this milestone.<\/p>\n

The Goa Super 100 is a full undergraduate scholarship program designed to empower 100 bright, underprivileged Goan students to pursue higher education at reputed universities across India. Envisioned by\u00a0Dr.<\/strong>Ashwin Fernandes<\/strong>, this program marks a significant step in addressing the post-Class 12 education gap for economically constrained youth in the state.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event,\u00a0Dr. Ashwin Fernandes<\/strong>\u00a0said,\u00a0\u201cWe have seen firsthand how hope takes root when resources meet responsibility. Goa Super 100 is not just about financial support \u2014 it\u2019s about creating a generation of leaders who carry forward the spirit of equity, gratitude, and giving back.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The initiative builds on PACT\u2019s impressive track record of impact in just two years. Since its inception in 2023, the Foundation\u2019s flagship\u00a0Happy School Project<\/strong>\u00a0has transformed over\u00a020 rural and semi-urban government schools<\/strong>, creating clean, safe, and joyful learning environments for more than\u00a06,000 students<\/strong>. From smart classrooms and libraries to playgrounds and clean sanitation, the schools have become thriving spaces of dignity, learning, and community pride. The Foundation Day also recognised the tireless efforts of teachers, community leaders, and volunteers who have co-created this journey of change.<\/p>\n

In their keynote addresses, both\u00a0Mr. Anupam Kher and Mr. Sonu Sood<\/strong>\u00a0emphasised the power of education to transform lives. Mr. Anupam Kher encouraged students to dream big and persevere through challenges, while Mr. Sonu Sood praised Dr.AshwinFernandes for turning his global experience into grassroots action in his home state.<\/p>\n

The Foundation Day concluded with a call to action from Dr.Ashwin Fernandes \u2014 inviting individuals, corporate partners, and the Goan diaspora to support the mission through donations, mentorship, or institutional partnerships. PACT will soon open the\u00a0Goa Super 100<\/strong>\u00a0application portal, with the first cohort of scholars expected to begin college in the 2026\u201327 academic year.<\/p>\n
