Held at\u00a0Pragnya Bodhini High School, Goregaon,\u00a0the screening continued the festival\u2019s mission of fostering creativity, empathy and learning through cinema.<\/p>\n<p>The feature film\u00a0Little Thomas\u00a0was showcased to an enthusiastic audience of over\u00a0900\u00a0students, in the presence of\u00a0Kaushal Oza, Indian Screenwriter, Director and National Film Awardee;\u00a0Hridansh\u00a0Parekh, Child Actor and Lead in \u2018Little Thomas\u2019;\u00a0Mathieu\u00a0B\u00e9jot, Attach\u00e9 for Audiovisual, Cinema &amp; Digital Content, Embassy of France in India;\u00a0Shilpashree\u00a0Muniswamappa, Director \u2013 ESG &amp; Communications, Colgate \u2013 Palmolive (India) Ltd; \u00a0and several distinguished guests from the education and film community.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, more than\u00a015,000\u00a0students across Mumbai\u00a0are expected to participate in screenings scheduled until November 30\u00a0this year.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the learning experience, acclaimed actor\u00a0Rasika Dugal\u00a0conducted a special masterclass titled\u00a0\u201cThe Magic of Acting\u201d, offering students insight into performance, expression and character-building. Her engaging session encouraged young learners to discover the world of cinema beyond the screen.<\/p>\n<p>Prominent global film festivals \u2014 including the\u00a0Annecy International Animation Film Festival (France),\u00a0AniMelaFestival (India),\u00a0Giffoni\u00a0Film Festival (Italy),\u00a0and the\u00a0ZERO PLUS International Film Festival (Russia)\u00a0\u2014 have extended their support to SCIFF 2025. The initiative is also supported by France and Spain as country partners, Colgate Bright Smiles and Manipal Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Winner of\u00a0seven National\u00a0Film\u00a0Awards\u00a0from the President of India,\u00a0Syed Sultan Ahmed, Festival Director, SCIFF\u00a0&amp; Founder &amp; Chief Learner, LXL Ideas\u00a0Pvt.\u00a0Ltd.,\u00a0said,\u00a0\u201cSCIFF is more than just a film festival \u2014 it is a movement to bring the world\u2019s finest stories directly into classrooms across India. Cinema has the power to ignite curiosity, nurture creativity and build empathy. This year, we are proud to engage students across 41,000 schools, making SCIFF 2025 a truly meaningful and transformative experience for young minds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kaushal Oza, Indian Screenwriter, Director and National Film Awardee, added,\u00a0\u201cFilms have a special way of touching young hearts. They help children see the world differently, understand new emotions and learn important values. I am very happy that my film\u00a0Little Thomas\u00a0was\u00a0selected for a special screening at SCIFF 2025. It was wonderful meeting the students and hearing what the film meant to them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Running from\u00a0November 14\u201330, 2025, SCIFF 2025 is set to engage students from\u00a0over 40,000 government schools and 1,000 private schools\u00a0across India, showcasing\u00a0100+ curated films\u00a0from\u00a025 countries,\u00a0in\u00a020+ Indian and international languages.<\/p>\n<p>Through its\u00a0\u201cWATCH, LEARN, MAKE\u201d\u00a0framework, the festival brings cinema into classrooms as a tool for learning.
