New Delhi [India], December 22: <\/span>Enord Pvt. Ltd.<\/strong>, a pioneering AI-on-Edge drone technology startup, has secured a landmark\u00a0multi-crore contract from the School of Artillery, Deolali, Nashik, Indian Army<\/strong>, for the supply of\u00a0Made-in-India Standalone VR Drone Training Simulators<\/strong>. The order has been placed under the\u00a0Emergency Powers Revenue (EP) 2025<\/strong>\u00a0mandate, marking a significant milestone in India\u2019s drive toward\u00a0Aatmanirbhar Bharat<\/strong>\u00a0in defence technology.<\/p>\n

Under the contract, Enord will deliver\u00a0700+ VR drone simulators<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0Category-A establishments of the Indian Army<\/strong>, spanning\u00a019 units across the country<\/strong>. The deployment will be carried out in\u00a0three phases<\/strong>, with\u00a0full completion targeted by Q2 2026<\/strong>, enabling rapid and scalable enhancement of drone training infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The simulators are designed to offer\u00a0high-fidelity, immersive training<\/strong>\u00a0for military drone operators without reliance on live UAVs. The system supports\u00a0FPV flying, ISR mission rehearsal, emergency response drills, and complex tactical scenarios<\/strong>, significantly reducing operational risk, cost, and equipment wear while accelerating pilot readiness.<\/p>\n

The award follows an\u00a0extensive evaluation and qualification process<\/strong>, including\u00a0field trials, <\/strong>detailed performance assessments, and\u00a0strict country-of-origin compliance checks<\/strong>. These audits underscore the Army\u2019s focus on secure, indigenous supply chains.<\/p>\n
