New Delhi [India], February 24: <\/strong>Birmingham City University (BCU), one of the United\u00a0 Kingdom\u2019s leading practice-led institutions, is currently in New Delhi to engage with\u00a0 students, parents, academic partners and policymakers, reinforcing its long-term\u00a0 commitment to India.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Addressing stakeholders during the visit, <\/span>Professor David Mba, Vice-Chancellor of\u00a0 BCU<\/b>, emphasised that the UK\u2013India education partnership must evolve from traditional\u00a0 student mobility to deeper collaboration, co-creation and shared innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

India Central to BCU\u2019s Vision\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

India is a priority partner in BCU\u2019s Strategy 2030 vision of developing future-ready talent\u00a0 and powering prosperity through knowledge. More than 2,000 Indian students are\u00a0 currently enrolled at BCU\u2019s Birmingham campus, making India one of the University\u2019s\u00a0 largest international communities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BCU\u2019s programmes are designed in close collaboration with global industry leaders\u00a0 including Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco and Jaguar Land Rover. This ensures students gain\u00a0 hands-on exposure in high-growth sectors such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity,\u00a0 digital infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, sustainable mobility and green\u00a0 transition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond admissions, BCU is actively engaged in research and innovation partnerships\u00a0 across India. The University has delivered impactful initiatives such as the MSc\u00a0 Advancing Diabetes Care programme, which has upskilled doctors across India through\u00a0 accessible online learning. In addition, BCU is involved in multiple collaborative research\u00a0 projects spanning climate resilience, smart cities, digital security and creative industries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
