(AIS), India\u2019s leading integrated glass and window solutions company, today announced the winners of the 7th edition of the AIS Design Olympiad (ADO) \u2014 a national platform that brings academia and industry together.<\/p>\n<p>Launched in June 2025, ADO 7.0 witnessed participation from architecture colleges across India, with students competing through five regional rounds before advancing to the national finale held on 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2026. The competition theme,\u00a0<em>\u201cDesigning Sustainable Fa\u00e7ades for Smarter, Greener Workspaces,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0challenged students to treat fa\u00e7ades not as static exteriors, but as high-performance systems that enhance energy efficiency, occupant wellbeing, and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>After a rigorous evaluation process, four colleges emerged as national winners:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>First Prize: NIT, Patna<\/li>\n<li>Second Prize: Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurugram<\/li>\n<li>Third Prize: MEASI Academy of Architecture, Chennai<\/li>\n<li>Special Recognition Prize : Deenbandu Chottu Ram University, Murthal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ADO 7.0 National Finale featured live jury reviews, detailed technical evaluations, and a showcase of student fa\u00e7ade concepts through scale models and presentation panels.<\/p>\n<p>The jury comprised some of the most respected names in architecture al industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vikram Khanna, COO \u2013 Consumer Glass &amp; Architectural Institutional Business and CMO, AIS<\/strong>, said: \u201cAt Ashai India Glass Ltd. Karl Wadia, Design Principal, Hafeez Contractor, Co-Curator and National Juror<\/strong>, added: \u201cFa\u00e7ades today must balance aesthetics, performance, cost, and maintenance. The finalists showcased thoughtful integration of shading systems, glazing strategies, and daylight optimisation.
