New Delhi [India], September 26:<\/strong> Each song Shantanu Sudame sung, became chartbusters. What are the chances?<\/p>\n

As Shantanu says, \u201cHonestly, the chances were pretty slim!\u201d<\/p>\n

He continues, \u201cAs artists, we can only do our work and try to do it to the best of our ability. Whether a film or a song becomes a massive success is ultimately beyond our control.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, the fact that the songs I have sung for Hanuman Ansh<\/strong> and URI<\/strong> went on to receive such a tremendous response is something I feel genuinely grateful for. It\u2019s one of those moments when you realise that sometimes, everything simply comes together beautifully.\u201d<\/p>\n

He tells us, \u201cThe story behind Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai<\/strong> is actually quite wonderfully accidental!<\/p>\n

The music composer of the film, Dhirendra Mulkalwar, is a dear friend. At the time, I was working with him on the background score of Hanuman Ansh<\/strong>, contributing guitars and recording chorus.<\/p>\n

One day, Dhiru bhai called and said, \u201cBhai, yeh chorus ka part fatafat gaa kar bhej do please.\u201d<\/p>\n

He sent me the part\u2014which was the Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai<\/strong> chorus and the Sitaram section at the end. I recorded it, sent it across and completely forgot about it. A few days later, Dhiru suddenly said, \u201cYaar, Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai ka mukhda karna hai aur abhi approval ke liye bhejna hai.\u201d<\/p>\n

I said, \u201cTheek hai, lyrics de do.\u201d<\/p>\n

He replied, \u201cAap hi scratch lyrics nipta do, phir baad mein dekhte hain.\u201d<\/p>\n

So I asked him for the tune.<\/p>\n

He simply said, \u201cMain tune bana raha hoon, aap lyrics niptao tab tak.\u201d<\/p>\n

And somehow, in that room, everything just came together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since the track had to be sent for approval, I quickly recorded a scratch version with my voice, and we sent it across. After that, well\u2026Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai!<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n

When asked about his previous blockbuster \u2013 Manzar Hai Ye Naya, he said \u201cI was working with Shashwat Sachdeva on an entirely different project when I received a call from his studio. They were looking for a voice for a song and asked if I could sing the scratch.<\/p>\n
