Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 7: Ambipalm Health\u00a0<\/strong>Private Limited,\u00a0<\/strong>a\u00a0Hyderabad-based\u00a0start-up,\u00a0recently launched an\u00a0application\u00a0and portal,\u00a0serving as an aggregator for ambulances with a vision to help people in need.\u00a0The app also has\u00a0an\u00a0additional\u00a0\u2018free\u00a0blood\u2019\u00a0<\/em>feature for those who\u00a0require or want to\u00a0donate blood. These people can register on the application, at no additional cost.<\/p>\n

Since its inception, the recently launched app has received a positive response with over\u00a050,000 downloads.\u00a0The company currently offers\u00a0services through the\u00a0app in\u00a0over\u00a014 cities\u00a0which include:\u00a0Hyderabad, Guntur, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mysore, Durgapur, Asansol, Siliguri, Darjeeling, Lucknow, Kanpur, Faridabad, and Gurgaon.<\/p>\n

Leonard Jackson, Director\u00a0of\u00a0Ambipalm Health Pvt.\u00a0Ltd,\u00a0speaking on the organization\u2019s expansion, stated –\u201cAmbipalm is the future of medical transport in India.\u00a0We\u00a0currently offer\u00a0services through the\u00a0app in\u00a0over\u00a014 cities, and\u00a0we plan\u00a0on further\u00a0expanding\u00a0our services to\u00a0over\u00a016 more cities\u00a0within\u00a0the next 6 months. This will cove<\/em> m <\/em>r\u00a0major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, Ahmedabad, Raipur, Pune, etc. We have\u00a0kick-started operations with an investment of Rs.10\u00a0crore and have\u00a0gathered\u00a0enough funding for the\u00a0entire\u00a0expansion\u00a0plan.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Ms. Doris Abhirupa Pradhan,\u00a0(also) Director at\u00a0Ambipalm Health Pvt Ltd\u00a0said that efforts were being made to forge partnerships with leading hospitals. \u201cCurrently, we have over a thousand ambulances connected to our app, and more will be available soon\u201d, she stated.<\/p>\n

Ambipalm acts as a bridge between ambulance owners, and\u00a0those in need of\u00a0ambulances.\u00a0There are three types of\u00a0ambulances available on the app, which\u00a0include:\u00a0Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS),\u00a0and\u00a0Transport Ambulances. Customers\u00a0may\u00a0choose the\u00a0type that\u00a0suits their\u00a0requirements.<\/p>\n
