Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra Shares His Thoughts on “The Birth of a Child” and the Need to Eradicate Social Evils

Posted on March 3, 2025 By

New Delhi [India], March 3: Industry expert and motivational speaker, Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra recently shared a thought-provoking video on his YouTube channel titled “The Birth of a Child” discussing the significance of a newborn’s arrival, the impact it has on families, and its broader influence on society.

Industry expert and motivational speaker, Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra recently released a thought-provoking video on his YouTube channel titled “The Birth of a Child.” In this video, he shares profound insights on the significance of a newborn’s arrival, the impact of early upbringing, and how deeply rooted social evils influence a child’s development. He emphasizes that the responsibility of shaping a child’s future begins long before birth, calling for a shift in how society nurtures and educates its young generations.

Welcoming New Life: A Family’s Joy

Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra begins by expressing that the birth of a child is a moment of immense joy and a fresh beginning for any family. A newborn brings excitement, warmth, and a renewed sense of purpose, uniting the family in love and care. However, he challenges the conventional notion of birth, stating, “A child is not born the day they are delivered; their journey begins from the moment of conception. The mother’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviour shape the child’s future.”

This perspective highlights how essential it is to create a nurturing and positive environment for an unborn child, as their mental and emotional well-being begins long before they enter the world.

Understanding Social Evils and Their Impact on Children

Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra then shifts the focus to the pressing issue of social evils and how they take root at the very beginning of life. He explains that addressing social problems isn’t just about implementing reforms but about recognizing how emotions and psychology shape human behaviour.

He states, “We must prepare for social evils from the very moment a child is conceived. If we wish to correct them, we must first understand the deep psychology of emotions and how they influence a person’s development.”

Among the many social issues he highlights, one of the most critical is the flawed approach to education.

Education: Breaking the Cycle of “Gaming Numbers”

One of the major concerns Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra raises is the obsession with academic scores. He criticizes the current education system, which prioritizes high percentages over true learning. “We have made education a numbers game—98.5%, 99.5%—but does this truly determine intelligence?” he asks. He argues that a child scoring 60% might have a deeper understanding of life and leadership skills, whereas a child scoring 90% might lack social intelligence. “A 60% holder could be a great administrator, a leader who understands people, but our system only recognizes numbers. A child who excels academically but lacks emotional intelligence struggles in leadership and communication. We are producing machines, not thinkers,” he warns.

This “system,” as Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra describes it, is becoming more prevalent in India, turning bright young minds into robotic individuals operating in confined spaces. He urges society to rethink education and ensure that children grow up with real-world knowledge, compassion, and emotional intelligence.

The Concept of Samadhi and a Child’s Innocence

To explain the purity of a child’s mind, Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra introduces the concept of Samadhi, a meditative state of complete detachment. “Samadhi is the state where there is no attachment, no distractions, just pure existence—much like a newborn child,” he explains.

However, he laments that society corrupts this innocence by imposing rigid structures, expectations, and materialistic aspirations. “We are ruining the purity of children. Instead of letting them grow with curiosity and creativity, we force them into predefined molds,” he says.

He calls for a collective effort to protect children’s natural state of learning and exploration, allowing them to grow into well-rounded, compassionate individuals.

The Role and Responsibilities of Parents and Society

Beyond just education, Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra highlights the immense responsibility parents have in shaping their children’s moral and ethical foundation. He stresses that parenting is not merely about providing food and shelter but about instilling values of kindness, empathy, and respect.

He also places responsibility on society, urging community leaders and policymakers to create an environment where children are not just academically trained but also emotionally nurtured. “If we want a better future, we must stop treating children as projects and start seeing them as individuals with limitless potential,” he emphasizes.

Preserving Culture and Traditions

Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra also touches on the importance of preserving cultural values in child-rearing. He believes that a child’s birth is an opportunity to pass down traditions, moral values, and heritage. “Our roots define us. It is essential that children grow up understanding their culture, as this shapes their identity and sense of belonging,” he explains.

He urges parents to ensure that cultural education goes hand in hand with modern learning, allowing children to develop a well-balanced worldview.

A Call to Action

Mr. Sanjeev Kwatra concludes his powerful message by reiterating that the birth of a child is not just a personal event—it is a societal responsibility. He urges parents, educators, and leaders to rethink the way they raise and educate children, ensuring that future generations grow up with emotional intelligence, wisdom, and a deep understanding of life beyond numbers and material success.

He leaves the audience with a thought-provoking message: “The birth of a child is the birth of a new world. If we want to eliminate social evils, we must begin at the very start—before the child is even born. Only then can we create a future filled with hope, wisdom, and true progress.”

This powerful insight serves as a wake-up call for society to shift its approach toward parenting, education, and child development, ensuring that the next generation is raised with the right values, empathy, and awareness.
