September 27: Different seems to be the order of the day currently, the more different approach you have, more people sit up and notice you. Well, this is exactly what you would do when you hear about this upcoming 1st Gujarati ‘one character’ film…yes, you heard right, a one-character film from the beginning till the end. This unique film called “RJ Khushee” is written and screenplay by Jatin Sadhu, an ocean of talent! This first of its kind Gujarati film is already creating a buzz with its title track, just recorded with the famous Bollywood singer Aishwarya Majmudar and, of course, the multitalented Jatin Sadhu who also lends his voice and has written the lyrics and composed the music for this beautiful song to be released soon. The song is mesmerizing and relatable for every young girl as it captures the essence of a liberated woman and is aptly titled “Bindas chhu hu”. The film circles around the life of young Khushee, the ups and downs she goes through and how she overcomes them, how she helps other girls, showcasing and reverberating the quote “You are a woman, that is your superpower”!
Jatin Sadhu has so beautifully encompassed so many different emotions of a woman through this film that it will really make you wonder that how has it been written by a man! Mr. Sadhu has done the film-writing, screenplay, music, dialogues, lyrics and cast for RJ Khushee. Jatin Sadhu comes from a vast pool of experience with over two decades of the musical journey and representing the nation in various countries like Canada, France, Poland, China, Czech Republic, U.A.E etc. His cross-cultural approach to performances and his talent in songs and music composition has been recognized and brought in accolades by the Prime Minister’s Office (the PMO) and Ex. Chief Minister of Gujarat – Ms. Anandiben Patel. He was recently honoured with the “Pride of Gujarat- 2021” award. The media has always been abuzz with his updates and unique and heart touching contribution to the music world.
Bollywood being such an integral part of the country, his appreciation has not been left out from there either. He was awarded the “Radiance Iconic Award – 2019” by the popular Bollywood actress Ms. Raveena Tandon. He was also the recipient of the “Promising Indian award-2019” at New Delhi and promising he is!
He is also a revered teacher, students look forward to his classes which go beyond just teaching music. He is also the Founder and Director of Guru-The arts hub a unique venture designed to cater and hone various talents. Guru-The arts hub is co-producing the film RJ Khushee.
Mr. Sadhu managed to turn the covid-19 pandemic into an opportunity of co-learning and sharing. He converted this remorse phase into an interesting time, where he started his own live shows on social media called “Gupshup with Guru” and “Dil se”. Where he interviewed celebrities across the country and learnt about their struggles, their successes, and their formula of working through the lockdown and pandemic, some renowned artists have been a part of this show, he forged towards bringing awareness about various forms of arts through his shows.
