Religion has became a strong wall between humans and Humanity for Many, says Ayush Gupta

Posted on February 18, 2022 By

February 18: Time and again, religion has taught humanity to humans. But, ironically, human beings have used it for self-destruction. A lot has been said about religious harmony and society in the past, but people continue to harm each other in ways like they haven’t learnt anything from history.

The Hijab controversy, which has happened lately, has scared many people as the incident has raised a big question mark on the secularism of India.

Young Reiki Healer and renowned author Ayush Gupta recently shared his thoughts about Humanity and Religion and mentioned humanity’s most important purpose.

“There is nothing wrong in following religion and traditions, but it shouldn’t affect your humanity. The essential trait is human, and you should never forget it. For many, religion has become a strong wall between humans and humanity, shares Ayush.

Explaining his point, Ayush adds, “There are a lot of good people who follow their religion but keep humanity as their priority.” But for others, he mentions that one should never get to a point where their actions harm others, mentally torture them and affect the idea of co-existence.

Ayush Gupta also mentions that everyone has the right to speak or share their opinions, but it shouldn’t be humiliating for others.

Talking about Ayush Gupta’s work, he started reiki at the age of 7 years, following his father’s footsteps, Mr Kashi Prasad Gupta. He has helped many big Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Remo D’souza, Udit Narayan, and others benefit through his skills. Amid the pandemic, he has helped several COVID-19 patients too.

In July last year, Ayush’s book about reiki healing got published. Speaking about it, he had told Hindustan Times, “This book is an amalgamation of my journey and my ultimate experience with Reiki which motivated me to write something that would benefit larger masses. The book offers insights that will help you make sense of many cultural aspects that have influenced the practice of Reiki.”
