May 20: The production house, PAVRA ENTERTAINMENT`s Hindi feature film, “Wings Of Freedom “and “The LiFT” received the Certificate Of Excellence, special jury mention, and official selection recognition, respectively, at the 12th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2022.
Their Hindi Feature film, “Wings Of Freedom”, recently, has made its mark by winning multiple national and international awards besides the special mention jury felicitation at the 12th Dada Saheb Phalke Awards 2022 held in Noida, New Delhi NCR. The drama genre Feature-film also won awards at the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival, Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, First-Time Filmmaker Sessions By Lift-Off Global Network, and more.
“Wings Of Freedom” even won awards in three major categories at the INDO-Singapore International Film Festival as well. The Feature film received the “Best Debut Feature Film”, “Best Debut Director (Arya Jitesh)”, and “Best Poster” awards. Tarika Tripathi, the main lead of the film also won the “Best Actress Award” at the festival.
The story of the Feature film, “Wings Of Freedom” revolves around Arefa, a 23-year-old girl who belongs to an orthodox lower-middle-class family. The young girl has been dealing with her inner and outer conflicts as she is getting pressed by her family to get married. Her monotonous life takes a U-turn when she is bumped by a stranger guy at the bus stand. This instance leads her to develop a completely new perspective of life.
Director of the Feature film, Arya Jitesh shares, “A girl caged by her inner thoughts, outer conflicts, and how she overcomes them was the central idea of the film. We all in our lives go through a phase when we don’t have any idea about what to do in our lives, and then one incident completely changes us.”
