INIFD Andheri is a franchise of INIFD and was established in 2003. Entering its 20th successful year in the field of design education, what better way to celebrate the achievements of INIFD Andheri for exemplary performance than with an Award and to be categorized as the first Platinum centre of INIFD in the country. Ernst and Young audited 180 centres of INIFD across the world. The criteria was a strict evaluation of the infrastructure, faculties, academics, placement record, internship opportunities, exposure to various industry mentors, industrial visits and much more. INIFD-Andheri passed with flying colours placing it as No.1.
This is only possible due to the centre director Mr. VIVEK GAUTAM, who had a vision to be the best amongst all design institutes across the world. Once an international-level Badminton player, first creating champions in sports, now for the past 19 years has been creating champions in the field of Fashion and Interior design.
During the award ceremony, prestigious Alumni of INIFD Andheri were also felicitated. Designers such as Mrunal Mistry, Vivek Gupta, Viditha Raut, Bhumika Sehgal, Aditya Baid, Tanuj Sawant Hardik Heda, Hema Choudhary, Anjana Premjit and many more.
Vivek Gautam says “It was my dream to put INIFD-Andheri on the top and today it is a great feeling to receive the recognition which me and my team have been striving for. It’s been nearly 20 years since I started the institute with just 6 students and today when I see my students having established careers, I feel proud. My commitment to provide quality education to my students still stands.
INIFD-Andheri has an affiliation with Maharashtra State Board of Skill Development. It offers1/2/3 years courses in Fashion and Interior Design. INIFD-Andheri offers 100% placements and internships to all students. The Interior design course is offered in association with IIID (Institute of Interior Design). INIFD-Bandra is now a part of INIFD-Andheri management.
