New Delhi (India), April 3: CUET-UG, the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate, is set to undergo a major overhaul this year. The test will be conducted in two modes based on the number of applications received. Subjects with over 1.5 lakh applications will be conducted in the traditional pen-paper mode, while those with fewer applications will be computer-based.

Based on previous application trends, subjects such as English, mathematics, physics, and chemistry are likely to be delivered in the pen-paper mode. CUET-UG is the second-largest entrance exam in the country, with a significant number of applicants. In its debut edition in 2022, 12.5 lakh students registered, followed by close to 15 lakhs the following year.

The exam dates for CUET-UG 2024 have been scheduled between May 15 and 31, as announced by the NTA in September 2023.
