As the duty begins Dr. Sunil Kumar Garssa performed more than 3500 successful Cardiac Procedures so far in his journey. These numbers are themselves an achievement. Dr. Sunil Kumar Garssa is a specialist in doing coronary procedures from the radial route, is a specialist in using advanced techniques like rotablation, FFR, IVUS for coronary Procedures, and does pacemaker & structural heart disease interventions.
When he moved to Jaipur the Coronary procedure from the radial route was only at 10%. The whole cardiology stream saw and shift and a game-changing opportunity and today these numbers are at 70% and his own Dana Shivam heart and Super-specialty Hospital these Numbers are 90%.
Dr. Sunil accomplished his MBBS from Sawai Man Singh Medical College Jaipur in 1999 and started his internship at the same hospital. After his internship in the year 2000, he moved to Udaipur RNT Medical College for further training of Doctor in Medicine (MD) for 3 years and after that, in 2006 he started his Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in cardiology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.
Alongside his journey of learning and achieving higher knowledge for his profession he was also doing his duty for that he got awards and praises for his work by state chief minister Ashok Gehlot, He was awarded by the Business leader of Rajasthan 2019 for his contribution to health care.
Among all the awards he got two of the most important Achievements in his bucket, firstly, Fellowship in the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and then Fellowship in the European Society of Cardiology (FESC).

In 2015 Dr. Sunil Kumar Garssa gathered a team of highly skilled doctors from different streams and started his own Dana Shivam Heart and Super Specialty Hospital. In July 2021, Dana Shivam Heart and Super Specialty hospital successfully completed 6 years with a motto ‘Aapki Sehat ka khayal, Saksham hathon main’.
Dana Shivam Heart & Super Specialty Hospital is a Rajasthan Govt. And ECHS Approved hospital, and State of art in-house facilities Like ICU, Cathlab, Modular OT’s, Medical ICU, Surgery ICU, Private Rooms, Labor Room, Dialysis Facility along with CT scan, Lab testing, Ultra Sound and ECHO.
He is accompanied by his wife Dr. Shalini Tomar Garssa throughout his journey. Dr. Shalini is also the Managing Director and a cardiologist doctor at Dana Shivam Hospital.
