A renowned dentist from Navsari, Dr. Ankit Desai receives the ‘Best Dentist of Gujarat’ award at the International Fame Awards (IFA) 2021

Navsari (Gujarat) [India], November 02: Dr. Ankit Desai, a renowned dentist from Navsari was honored with the International Fame Award (IFA) 2021 as the best dentist in Gujarat at the glittering awards ceremony held in New Delhi on October 30.

Dr. Desai was given away the best dentist award at the hands of actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood in the presence of the galaxy of people from different walks of life from across the country.

The IFA award to Dr. Desai was given away based on 38 different parameters including highly equipped clinic, state-of-the-art dentistry technology being used, best sterilisation process, unmatched facilities provided to the patients, ISO 9001:2008 certified clinic, 13,000 patients diagnosed in last one year, the most number of needy patients treated on charity, etc.

Dr. Ankit Desai, a dentist, said, “Navsari is the historic town of Parsis and that most of its residents are settled abroad. Every year, Navsari attracts the highest number of NRIs and foreign patients from more than 32 countries who are looking for dental treatments. We have been treating the highest number of NRI patients every year.”

Dr. Desai added, “We have treated more than one lakh patients till now and done about 15,000 conventional implants. We have been doing basal implants or dental implants that employ the basal cortical portion of the jaws for implant retention within   72 hours. Until now, we have done 8,000 basal implants with a 0.01% failure ratio. I have been to about 47 countries for dental advancements and implemented international standards in the clinic.”
