December 23: The beauty industry has been flourishing for the past decade and what is more relevant is the fact that it has introduced many amazing people. With India bringing Miss Universe 2021 after 21 years home, it is for sure that India is doing great in the beauty and fashion industry. Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth is the new woman of today who believed in her passion and opted to achieve it. Hemamalini is a strong-headed woman who has been born and raised in Theni, a small town down south. This is where she aspired to opt for a medical career and decided to study cosmetology in Chennai. Being in the city life and with the accessibility to pursue her passion, Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth found ways to be a part of the beauty industry after completing her studies in medicine.
Dr. Hemamalini Rajnikanth met her husband in the workplace and soon got married. Her vision has always been clear, and she mentioned, “Being a medical cosmetologist and a visionary entrepreneur from a small village in Tamil Nadu, I am more motivated and elegantly inspirational. I got married and never marked an end to my dreams rather was just the beginning of a new chapter.”
She added saying, “When I was younger, I went through a lot of body shaming but eventually transformed through a tough journey. With time I became a cosmetologist and embraced my visionary entrepreneurship with two international companies after a long struggle in Chennai. I always aimed to educate and help more people.” She eventually started appearing in multiple beauty pageants and finally got an opportunity to participate in Mrs. India Earth 2021. This was held on 18th Dec’21. Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth turned out to be the Mrs. India Earth- 1st runner up and even grabbed hold of the title of Mrs. Intelligence for 2021.
On this, she expressed, “The Mrs. INDIA Earth is a Beauty Pageant as well as it is an honor to acknowledge Indian ladies will be the most prestigious shows in presence today and will turn into a vehicle for self-awareness and advancement of social appreciation. The ‘Mrs. INDIA Earth’s Pageant is the National Pride and Treasure of India. Mrs. INDIA Earth holds a yearly event for Indian Women who embody Beauty, Talent, Intelligence, and Compassion. The Indian Woman in her lifetime assumes numerous significant parts that make her crucial. She is the line of Entrepreneurship consider Business Enterprises, operate them, Undertake Risks and handle Economic Uncertainties required in maintaining a Business Enterprise.”
Her effort for making a difference through social work even makes it more evident that she is a true pageant holder. She represented Madisar saree in the traditional round with the social cause of ” Plant a Tree, plant a Life” and performed Silambam – Tamil martial art in the forum. Her aim is to help more than 1 lakh cancer survivors in the future as she has always believed in holding the right hand. Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth says, “Today I am here with the hunger to break that inferiority complex in most of the women and show the world that every woman is beautiful.” She being from a small town is breaks the stereotypes by stepping into the beauty industry making every woman confident to fight for their own ambition.
