In spite of achieving so much success and glory what is truly unique about Dr Jyotsna Suri is her commitment to give back to the society. She has constantly been a part of many social initiatives to help different sections of the society.

Under her leadership, Lalit Hotels initiated Project Disha whose main purpose was to assist children and youth from the lower strata of the society to get access to quality education. The main aim of Project Disha was to empower these children by education and help them get employment. This project gave countless children and youth lessons in English, vocational training and many other life skills that will stand them in good ground when it comes to finding employment.

It is Dr Suri’s firm belief that as someone in the hotel business, serving people especially those that have been neglected by the society is pivotal.

Not just this, under her leadership, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group also encourages more women employment in executive and other leadership positions. Further The Lalit Group is pioneer in employing members from the LGBTQIA+ community and giving voice to people belonging to the community. They also provide an equal opportunity to people who suffer from various impairments.
